Taking on this request and accompanying her, I wanted to ascertain Chiffon's character.

Well, I probably shouldn't worry too much. Though I'm not the best judge of character, Chiffon did seem like a good person. When she spoke of helping others, she didn't seem to be lying.

As I left the inn and moved towards the entrance of Krios, Chiffon was already there, smiling and waving at me.

Our work in Krios is done. The people of the city are resilient, and the damage from Stampede will likely be quickly repaired.

I'm curious about the demons' movements and Arios, but those are things I can't address while in Krios, nor can I investigate them. So, for now, I've decided to prioritize Chiffon's request.

She carried a huge shield and sword on her back, both as tall as her.

What were they for?

Chiffon saw the two and puffed her cheeks, raising her eyebrows.

"Late again! You said you'd catch up quickly, but you left me behind... Did you oversleep?"

"Um... sorry! The pillows were so fluffy and comfortable, I couldn't help it."

They seemed laid-back and relaxed...

There was something familiar about them.

"Oh, pardon me, are you Rain Shroud?"

"And... are these your dear companions?"

Kanade, Tania, and Luna made surprised faces.

Millefeuille and Chocolat, despite their appearances, exude an aura that suggests they're not to be underestimated.

Perhaps, during non-combat times, they relax and rest their bodies.

And during battles, like flipping a switch, their demeanor changes instantly... they seem to be that type.

TL Note- This month's schedule will be somewhat irregular as I have practicals, vivas and my major exams but Rain's starting a new adventure and so are we.
