Volume 16

Chapter 5-Cladio's darkness.

(TL:By Rafael)

Cladio Ledin.

The last head of the now defunct Ledin family.

He was the father of Erio and the one who hated the Clefus family the most. If he's still behind the scenes.......

"What the heck did you do to Erio ......?"(Cleo)

 I pondered for a while.

It was true that she had wanted to take revenge on Aruna. However, she must have gradually lost that desire over the past days.

What was it that made her come out?

"Cladio must be already hiding in the royal capital."(Cleo)

 That's the most likely scenario.

I took a breath and opened the door to the room where Erio was sleeping.

"Erio-san, how are you feeling?"(Cleo)

But maybe I should have paid a little more attention.

"Erio-san?"(Cleo)

There was no sign of her.

The window was open, the curtains swaying in the wind.

And left in the middle of the room, as if forgotten, was .......

"Is this a hairpiece ......?"(Cleo)

It was a single, beautiful hair ornament.

When I picked it up, I could see that it had some strange charm.

I had a feeling that I had seen something similar to this somewhere before.

'......But more importantly!"(Cleo)

I run out of the room, putting aside the thoughts that had stopped me.

With the hair ornament in hand, I set out to find my friend who had disappeared again.

"Erio. Your swordsmanship will soon reach the highest level in the world."(???)

"............"(Erio)

A man speaks to Elio, who squirms.

She hung her head in silence and listened, breathing hard.

"Hahaha, can't you even speak now? Mental erosion has always been the strength of Cinderius, but with a little ingenuity, it can be easily surpassed."(Cladio)

The man, Cladio, looked down at his daughter and smiled, then called out to the woman behind him.

"It's about time, isn't it? --"(Cladio)

 A woman wearing a mask.

The person nodded silently and slowly walked up to Erio.

She put her hand on his shoulder and whispered something in his ear. Then.

"----?!"(Erio)

 (TL:Some insane secret)

 Erio's shoulders bounced loudly.

A moment later, she looked up and  a look of anguish was on her face.

Looking at the girl, Cladio tells her one last time.

"Now, it's time. You are the masterpiece I have created."(Cladio)

He said in a way that made her feel like that she was his daughter.

"Now is the time for you to fulfill your debt to House Ledin."(Cladio)

TL Note- Let me ask you , should we judge Cladio and be bold or remember about Gown's case.( On a side note, no one comments on this novel anymore....sed life)

Comments

  1. I comment. And i get the feeling he is probably just going to be an evil bastard with the possibility of some tragic backstory. He still gotta die with what he has done so far, but i am at least going to consider the possibility of some sadness that led to evil.

  2. Lol. I'm playing catch up since Christmas. Cut a reader some slack.
Also, last arc was pretty consistent story pacing and details, but this one is more erratic as they seem to want to build up a mystery but are just overly vague instead.
We need it to advance more before we have a clue to what to comment on.
