Volume 33
Chapter 5-Marin starts cooking.

"…Well then. Let's get started by cutting these vegetables."
Marin rolled up her sleeves and looked at the various ingredients placed on the cutting board.
She held a knife in her hand, still far from being used to it, and began cooking with an incredibly clumsy grip. She was making the dish that the great hero loved—'curry,' but...
"Cut the carrot, potato, and onion into bite-sized pieces... Oh, why are they so slippery? Really, you should listen to me! You will all become delicious under my skilled hands!!"
The way she pressed down on the ingredients was quite alarming.
In fact, she had already cut her fingers several times and had to use healing magic each time.
Marin was clumsy in everything she did, but when it came to cooking, calling her clumsy seemed too kind a word. It was unavoidable to think so—
"Eek! Where are you going, ingredients?!"
Some of the vegetables slipped out of her hands and rolled across the floor.
Naturally, Marin tried to pick them up, but while she was doing that, other ingredients fell to the floor. When she took care of one, another would slip away.
And the end result was...
"Ah, geez! I have to wash everything and start over?!"
Surely, it wouldn't come to that.
You'd want to point that out, but she'd already spilled everything—from the dishes and cooking utensils to the ingredients. Since it actually happened, there was nothing to be done. Even though she herself looked extremely displeased, with a reluctant expression, she began picking up the utensils and ingredients.
The surrounding students seemed unsure whether they should help, but ultimately decided to just watch.
While it was certainly risky, she hadn't made any critical mistakes yet. As long as she didn’t mix up the sugar and salt, things could still be salvaged.
That’s what they thought as they continued to watch, but then—
"Oh my. It seems the sugar and salt got mixed together?"
—A problem arose before recovery was even possible.
Unbelievably, Marin had poured all the salt into the sugar box.
The students turned pale. They began to seriously consider whether they should step in and help, but…
"Well, if you think of it as saving a step, it's totally fine!!"
Marin herself said this and burst into loud laughter.
At that point, there wasn’t even time to offer help.
And at the same time, everyone had the same thought:
"Wait, sugar in curry…?"
TL Note- Sugar in Curry......🤕
