The beast tamer exiled from the hero’s party and the cat eared girl from the strongest race meet
While Rain was training in the village of the Cat Spirit Tribe...
Kanade and the others were training as well.
They couldn’t keep relying on Rain forever.
More importantly, Rain had a tendency to push himself too hard.
In that case, the only thing they could do was become stronger themselves and support him.
And so, day after day, they honed their skills.
As a result...
Kanade and Nina became capable of entering their awakened states at will.
Though, there was still a five-minute time limit...
For now, that was enough.
“Nina!”
“Yeah!”
Nina lightly spun her hand.
The approaching monsters were swallowed into subspace...
And forcibly teleported far away.
It was the same fighting style Nokia had demonstrated before.
A daughter grows by watching her mother’s back.
“Nice one, Nina!”
Kanade dashed forward.
No—
Calling it a dash would be far too tame.
She soared.
Like the wind.
Like sound itself.
Before anyone realized it, she was right in front of the monsters, crushing them one after another.
They couldn’t react.
They weren’t even allowed to resist.
An absolute executioner.
“At this rate!”
After tearing apart roughly half the monsters, Kanade pulled back to assess the results of the battle.
“Kanade... amazing...”
“Ehehe, it’s not that big a deal.”
“Not just a scaredy... cat anymore...”
“You’re bringing that up here!?”
Surrounded by such unique companions, Nina had grown mentally as well.
Though whether that growth was heading in the right direction was another matter entirely.
“Mgh!?”
Kanade narrowed her eyes sharply toward the monsters.
The monsters that should have been torn apart...
Yet instead of dying, they regenerated.
The monster split into four pieces became four separate monsters.
New creatures were born from each fragment.
“Even that didn’t work? Ugh, what a pain.”
“What... should we do?”
“Hmm... well, if they’re reduced to dust, they shouldn’t be able to regenerate, right? In that case...”
Kanade quietly whispered something into Nina’s ear.
Nina nodded along repeatedly...
Then gave a confident smile that seemed to say, No problem.
“Then I’ll prepare things, so I’m counting on you!”
“Okay.”
“Unyaaaaaaaah!!!”
Kanade shouted with spirit as she gathered power.
The light racing through her body crackled loudly.
As time passed, the electrical discharge grew more intense until eventually it converged into her right hand.
While charging her power, Kanade couldn’t move and was completely defenseless.
The monsters seemed to notice this and rushed toward her.
At this rate, the defenseless Kanade would be struck by the monsters’ fangs...
However, Nina would never allow that.
“Nn.”
Nina opened portal after portal connected to subspace, forcibly teleporting the monsters away one after another.
Not a single one slipped through.
She absolutely refused to let any of them get close.
One after another, she teleported them away, gathering them all into a single location.
And then...
“This... is the end.”
Finally, she opened an enormous subspace gate.
It resembled the mouth of a beast.
Skillfully manipulating her power, Nina swallowed up all the gathered monsters in one gulp.
Then she forcibly teleported them.
The troublesome monsters with regenerative abilities were all sent roughly a hundred meters into the air.
This, too, was copied from her mother’s fighting style.
That said, the monsters were tough.
And with their regenerative powers, falling from a hundred meters probably wouldn’t be enough to neutralize them.
But Nina understood that perfectly well.
Which was why it was time to switch.
“Kanade... please.”
“Yeah, leave it to me!”
Preparations complete.
As if declaring exactly that, Kanade’s entire body shone brightly.
Her right hand glowed especially intensely.
As though she were holding the sun itself in her palm.
“Unyaaaaaah...”
She concentrated deeper and deeper.
Compressing the power focused into a single point even further, pushing it to the absolute limit.
And then, the moment it reached its limit, she unleashed everything at once!
“Nyan!!!”
Kanade thrust her right hand forward with force.
The accumulated light erupted outward, releasing overwhelming power.
The storm-like dancing light resembled a dragon.
A strike comparable to supreme-tier magic swallowed the monsters whole.
Nothing remained afterward.
If anything could be mentioned, it was only the tiny specks of dust drifting downward.
Apparently, even those monsters couldn’t regenerate from that state.
They never revived, and were simply scattered away by the wind.
“Kanade... amazing...”
“Fufufu! Though it only works in my awakened state, this is my ultimate attack!”
“Ohh.”
“If I had to name it... Super Kanade Attack!”
“Ohh...?”
How about that name, exactly?
