At Elfin’s signal, several members of the Phoenix Tribe summoned fierce flames.

Seeing this, Kanade quickly retreated to the edge of the room, fearing that his tail might catch fire.

In contrast, Lin displayed a confident smile.

Even if she had learned to use magic without chanting, the power gap between her and the strongest species was vast.

Normally, one would expect her to be incinerated by the Phoenix Tribe’s flames.

And yet, Lin showed no sign of fear.

Though being overwhelmed by Lin’s attack must have been unexpected, Elfin remained composed and swiftly issued precise commands.

As expected of a leader.

"You human! You dare harm my comrades and enrage me—prepare to regret it!!!"

"You were the ones who attacked first, weren’t you? I was just defending myself."

"Such impudence...!"

"Aaanyway, it’s my turn now, right?"

Lin grinned wickedly, malice flashing across her face.

A soft glow emanated from her hand.

"Elfin!!!"

"Wha—!?"

Sensing something was wrong, I instinctively moved in front of Elfin.

She seemed about to say something, but there was no time to listen.

I summoned a stone wall to act as a shield.

"Gravity Manipulation!"

I wasn’t sure if just the stone wall would be enough.

So I generated a repulsion field between me and Lin as an additional barrier.

A storm of destruction erupted immediately after.

"Boom~!"

With a playful tone, Lin unleashed an overwhelming surge of magical energy.

I had seen this spell before.

She summoned a phantom beast from another realm to unleash an enormous thunderstorm—

The supreme magic Ixion Blast.

"Damn it...!?"

She had made it look like she was aiming at Elfin, but in reality, she was targeting everyone in the room.

There was no time to regret my misjudgment before violet lightning surged through the chamber.

Nina quickly conjured a large subspace rift, shielding herself, along with Rifa, Kanade, and Finia, from the lightning.
