The Narumi Family
Narumi Souta
The protagonist of this story. Overweight and nicknamed "Butao" (Piggy) by his classmates. He is part of a four-member family consisting of his father, mother, and younger sister. His childhood friend and neighbor is Kaworu Hayase. In the game, he is known as a PK (Player Killer) called "Saiaku," short for "Calamitous Villain."
He infiltrates the Kinran-kai clan party to gather information. He plans to enjoy a lot of delicious food with his sister, who tagged along without permission, and go sightseeing in Tokyo.
Narumi Kano
A lively third-year middle school student with light pink twin-tails and a baby face, often mistaken for a primary school student due to her height. She possesses the extra skill "Dual Wield" and is currently training at "Golem Castle" to become a "Mech Warrior" and establish a base. She plans to apply to adventurer school next year.
She tags along to the Kinran-kai clan party, plans to get a beautiful dress, and enjoy delicious food with her brother.
Narumi Daisuke and Narumi Sayuki
Souta and Kano's parents. Daisuke quit his job to run an adventurer-oriented store called "Narumi General Store." He dreams of being a heavily armored warrior and enjoys polishing full plate mail. Sayuki, who used to work part-time at the Adventurer's Guild, now focuses on managing the store and diving into dungeons. She dreams of casting powerful spells.
Both have already reached level 20. They enjoy daily dungeon runs to level up further and earn money.
Class 1-E
Kaworu Hayase
Tall and slender with long blue hair styled in a side-tail. She is Souta's childhood friend and believes she is his fiancée. She is the heroine of "Dun Ex." Beautiful, talented, and generally kind to everyone except Souta. She won the national kendo tournament in middle school and is quite skilled in swordsmanship. Her father, Tatsu Hayase, owns "Hayase Hardware Store," and her mother is absent.
She suspects that Souta might be strong and observes him at every opportunity. She participates in Sakon Tatehana's intense training, significantly improving her swordsmanship.
Yuma Akagi
With fiery red hair and golden eyes, he has a likable smile and is extremely handsome, making him very popular among the girls in his class. He is the hero and protagonist in "Dun Ex," the only one who can trigger heroine events. He possesses special talents that allow him to excel both in the front and back lines of battle. He is one of the two major leaders in Class 1-E.
His rivalry with Akira Tenma ignited after a sword fight with him, who is overwhelmingly superior.
Sakurako Sanjo
She has long, light pink wavy hair and dark pink eyes. She is both a heroine and protagonist in "Dun Ex," and players call her "Pink-chan." Shy and reserved, she reacts like a small animal when startled. Despite her appearance, she is highly skilled in both sword and magic.
She participates in Sakon Tatehana's intense training, significantly enhancing her classmates' strength with her powerful support skills.
Naoto Tachiki
An intellectual character with long dark hair parted in the center and glasses. He excels academically and has a high talent for magic, aspiring to become a "Wizard." His family serves the Viscount Isshiki. He possesses the initial skill "Enhanced Hearing," making him adept at gathering and analyzing information.
He reluctantly joins Sakon Tatehana's intense training, initially intending to decline due to his focus on becoming a magician. However, he decides to improve his swordsmanship on Nitta's recommendation and discovers an unexpected talent for it.
Satsuki Omiya
With clear navy blue eyes and black hair braided on both sides, she is called "Satsuki" by Souta and Lisa and shares a cooperative relationship with them. In the "Dun Ex" story, she is the class president who was targeted and expelled by upper classes. Her family serves a noble house, and she persuaded her parents to let her enroll in adventurer school.
Her strength rapidly increased after meeting Souta, now rivaling that of A-class students. She is fond of Class 1-E and supports her classmates by organizing practice sessions.
Lisa Nitta
A semi-long-haired, glasses-wearing girl with straight, light blonde hair. She exudes a more sophisticated and beautiful atmosphere than a cute one. Called "Lisa" by Souta and Satsuki, she is also in a cooperative relationship with them. She usually speaks in a relaxed and drawn-out manner but is sharp and observant. She surpasses Naoto Tachiki, who is set to be the smartest in the game.
A former famous PKK (Player Killer Killer) clan knight leader in "Dun Ex" with the alias "Black Executor," she is skilled in Western swordsmanship, particularly greatswords. Currently, she is observing the Kinran-kai clan party while hosting a BBQ with Satsuki and Arthur.
Kotone Kuga
With dark purple short bob hair and eyes, she is quiet and often unnoticed. She usually looks sleepy and is often grumpy in the mornings. Although registered as a level 6 "Thief," she is actually a level 20+ "Rogue" who was part of an American special forces unit, a Japanese-American hiding her identity at adventurer school. She is a key quest character in "Dun Ex" for the main quest "Kuga's Rebellion" and is also a heroine.
She is studying hard to learn how to make bento to win over Souta.
Hiroto Mashima
A relatively large, well-built student with carefully styled hair and good posture. He comes from a family serving a baronet and has an upper-class consciousness. He is one of the two major leaders in Class 1-E alongside Akagi, possessing strength comparable to Akagi's party. Although he often makes dismissive remarks about Souta, Souta does not dislike him.
Characters in Year 1 Class E
Takuya Tsukishima
A student with long blond hair, inappropriate for an elite school, who speaks lazily with his hands in his pockets and has poor class behavior. A DunEx player skilled in summoning and martial arts, knowledgeable about strategy clans and game information. His trump card is the highest-level summoning spell, "Valkyrie Skuld."
He challenged Souta head-on while Souta was disguised in a mask and robe but was defeated. Currently, he is acting quietly with Sera and Suo—for now.
Valkyrie Skuld
A defensive type Valkyrie summoned by Tsukishima. She appears as a woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, and silver armor, capable of flying with wings of light. She engaged in an aerial battle with Souta using her light sword.
Hajime Murai
The homeroom teacher of Year 1 Class E. A graduate of Adventurer University and an alum of the Adventurer High School, his abilities are unknown. He has little interest in his students and instructs them matter-of-factly.
Upper Year 1 Classes
Kikyo Sera
Top student of Year 1, Class A. She has long silver hair down to her waist and large violet eyes. The daughter of a marquis, she is being raised as the future successor of the "Saint" family. Souta admired her as a heroine since his gaming days. She possesses "Clairvoyance," which allows her to see the future of her target. Despite having high-level armor, she usually wears her school uniform to avoid standing out.
She admires Takuya Tsukishima as a hero and acts with him. Currently, she has taken over as student council president from Sagara and is working on school reforms.
Akira Tenma
Second in Year 1, Class A. Always in full plate armor, no one has seen her face. The only daughter of the Tenma Trading Company president, she excels in close combat and possesses great strength. She always moves with a black-clad butler. Akira, having made her first friends in Souta and Kotone, plans to form a party for the upcoming autumn "Team Battle."
Yurika Kurosaki
A former adventurer and master swordsman, she now serves as head maid and accompanies Akira Tenma. She grudgingly acknowledges Souta's abilities but views him as a miscreant seducing her master.
Koki Suo
A student of Year 1, Class B. The second son of a marquis and the class leader. He has long, straight black hair and an androgynous face, adorned with numerous badges and medals. The Suo family is a distinguished old noble family managing several large companies. He was drawn to Takuya Tsukishima's strength and knowledge and decided to act with him, though his true intentions are unclear.
Isamu Kariya
A Year 1, Class D student at level 11. He has dull gold hair, black eyes, and stands about 190 cm tall with a solid build, wielding a great sword. Though seemingly rash, he is calculative and sports a short, military-style haircut. He defeated Yuma Akagi in a duel at the arena and is surprisingly popular among his D Class peers, serving as their leader.
Upperclassmen in the Adventurer School
Akizane Sagara
Top student of Year 3, Class A, and former student council president. The heir of an earl's family, he aimed to reform the school so that capable individuals could rise. However, his ideas were deemed dangerous by his old noble family, preventing him from acting. He has since transferred his administrative powers to Kikyo Sera and stepped back from the frontline, often consulting with Kirara Kusunoki.
Kirara Kusunoki
Second in Year 2, Class A, and niece of Viscount Haruka Mikami. She has long, wavy blue hair, strong and dignified eyes, and a small nose, often hiding her mouth with a black feather fan. As head of the Thief Club and one of the Eight Dragons, she belongs to the "Kunoichi Red" strategy clan, operating covertly within the school.
She is currently involved in the Kinran Clan party to prevent the information leak about the "Samurai" and seeks Souta's cooperation.
Subaru Shingu
A noble with navy hair and a slender, delicate build, he is a youthful-looking, charming young man favored by older women. An old friend of Kirara Kusunoki, he met Souta and others at the Kinran Clan party.
Chizuru Shingu
A junior high third-year student with straight, lustrous navy hair and light-colored eyes. Subaru Shingu's younger sister, she admires Kirara Kusunoki. Expected to enter high school as the top student next year, she is a "tsundere" heroine in DunEx.
Otoha Isshiki
Top student of Year 2, Class A, and the daughter of the viscount's family served by Naoto Tachigi. With long, lustrous red hair and purplish eyes, she appears to be a quiet girl. She heads the First Magic Club and is one of the Eight Dragons, known for her talent worldwide, and possesses the unique magic "Teleport."
She is trying to contact Takuya Tsukishima by mobilizing her subordinates and even calling for stronger forces using her family's authority.
Sakon Tachibana
A large, muscular man with a beard, he is in Year 3, Class A, and the head of the First Swordsmanship Club, one of the Eight Dragons, although he denies this, claiming he has retired. A whimsical character, he was a mentor-like figure during the DunEx era. He agreed to train Year 1 Class E in exchange for learning magical swordsmanship from Lisa Nitta. However, he secretly pays attention to the talented students in Class E.
Tsukasa Horai
A tall, thin man with a slightly pale complexion, he is in Year 3, Class A, and heads the Weapons Research Club, being one of the Eight Dragons. He ascended to the Eight Dragons due to the powerful backing of the wealthy Horai family, amassing people, resources, and money.
Happy that we got an update on the Narumi family level thought they were still Level 17 and not 20. Also never expected Omiya Satsuki to be able to rival Class A students a very huge power up. Hopefully one day we at least get everyone current level in these Character intros.
