“You… what did you just see?” Rose slowly raised the magic sword in her hand, staring at it without blinking, a faint trace of black mist flickering in her eyes.
“See what? Nothing at all, I just got here! Really!”
Facing the queen who was on the verge of corruption, the magic sword lied with a face full of sincerity, then wisely shifted the topic without hesitation.
“I came this time to check on the progress of that thing. Our guild leader will need it soon.”
The moment she heard “that thing,” Rose’s expression grew slightly more serious. “Its incubation period still has about one hour left; the final adjustments are being carried out now.

Although the Immortal could barely provide food, oxygen, and other basic survival resources for the two million Kara people through its biological circulation system, things like clothing and daily necessities could not simply “grow” on their own.

Although Nie Yun had already started building farming bases within the Solar System, the food shortage problem for the Kara people would remain unsolved in the short term.
“Hmm… considering your situation, I might have a solution for your food problem!” the magic sword said seriously.
“What solution?” Rose asked curiously.
“The Immortal’s internal space is limited, but there’s still external space, isn’t there? Since the Immortal is such a good culture medium, haven’t you considered growing something on its body?

Growing enoki mushrooms on the Immortal? Naturally, that’s not realistic—enoki mushrooms haven’t evolved into a “space version” yet.
However, this did give Rose an idea: the Immortal’s external space is still completely undeveloped!
On Kara, edible fungal plants exist in abundance, with quite a variety of species.
If they could select the best strains, modify them, and cultivate a “super enoki mushroom” that can adapt to a space environment, then covering the Immortal with a layer of fungal growth would undoubtedly alleviate Kara’s food shortage significantly.

His eyes were open, but his violet pupils were empty, devoid of focus—like a body that had lost its soul…
