Chapter 19-Club activity solicitation ceremony

{SPONSORED CHAPTER-8}

(TL:By Rafael)

There were no afternoon classes today, and the club activities were to be introduced in the auditorium. My classmates were happily discussing which club to join.

As we were told during the orientation, the main club activities at this school are for dungeon diving. They are divided by the weapons they use, such as the Swordsmanship Club and the Archery Club, or by the jobs they do, such as the Wizard Research Club and the Warrior Research Club. The item creation club and blacksmithing club are also popular for those who want to become researchers or craftsmen involved in dungeons in the future.

Whatever the case may be, there is nothing more reassuring than being able to talk with and seek guidance from those who have gone before you in the direction you want to go.

All the first-year students from Class A to Class E gathered again in the huge auditorium. At the appointed time, the lights were dimmed and the male student council members took the stage.

"We will now hold a recruitment ceremony for club activities. There are various privileges for club activities, and some of them are reflected in your grades. I'm sure that many promising new students will receive many invitations, but I want you to use this ceremony to help you make your choice. Let's begin."

There is no such thing as recruiting in Class E.  ....... I'm not sure if any of my classmates are being recruited or not.

(Is this a pattern of only Class E being hacked?)

I thought that after a few days of enrollment, I would be able to interact with the other classes, but it seems that Class E is considered weak rather than being an outsider, and the relationship with the other classes is not very good. It's not that we don't interact with them, but they look down on us like we're fighting with them.

This is not only true for the first year students, but also for the second and third year E class.

Every time they introduce their club activities, they only look at Class A and Class B and appeal to them enthusiastically. They don't say anything against the E class, but they don't seem to welcome them.

 --In such a situation.

"To the new students of Class E, the Fourth Kenjutsu Club welcomes everyone. We don't have any sponsors, but we won't make you do all the chores just because you're in class E like other clubs do. We welcome anyone who wants to work hard and has ambition. Why don't you take a look at our club, even if it's just for a visit?"

A female student wearing a hakama turned to me and said some words of solicitation.

That person is an important person in the story of the main character, and is a senior Gyu, a second-year student who is also a sub-heroine along with Yuzuna Matsuzaka  . She is a woman with a strong core who later leads the Fourth Sword Club together with Akagi-kun in a big war against the First Sword Club.

According to Gyu, even if the E class joined the club activities run by the higher classes, they were not allowed to practice well, were forced to do only chores, and were even bullied a lot. This is why the E class created their own club activities, and the 4th Kenjutsu Club was created as a result.

Although her manner of speaking was gentle, the content of what she was saying was serious, and her classmates seemed to  have noticed that club activities that other classes can enter are dangerous.

"Small fry should get together with other small fry!

"But I want a chore clerk"

"Yes, yes, but you could at least train them a little."

Even though Gyu was still talking, the rest of the class was yelling at her. What is that attitude towards a senior?

(..... Hmm. That's why there are lots of events going on to get stronger and look back.)

The main character, Akagi, was also involved in a number of dueling events with higher classes in the story. After this, there must have been an event where he tried to join the First Sword Club, which was full of A-class students, but was turned away because he was in E class. So Akagi was picked up by the 4th Kenjutsu Club, where Gyu-senpai and the E class seniors are located, and he started to work hard to get back at the 1st Kenjutsu Club.

There is a bonus of dramatically improving his abilities as he progresses through that event, but there is quite a bit of darkness in the process. I'm rooting for you, man.

"I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I've been able to get you lower  into the ...... dungeon a little faster than you.

Mashima, who is the same classmate, has a high pride because he is a samurai. Of course, not only Mashima-kun, but everyone would like to look back on it ... At this point, even if the E-class has formed a clique, there is no way to win against the upper class.

Even in D-class Kariya, he is already at level 11 and has a [fighter] job. He is so strong that he can sink an E class student of level 3 or lower with one punch.

I've raised my level from 1 to 5, and I should be able to beat any fighter who hasn't been physically enhanced. The improvement in each of my abilities is negligible with just one level up. However, with the increase in dynamic vision, arm strength, physical strength, and endurance, your overall fighting ability will increase greatly.

My classmates turned their heads in thought or regret. They wanted to show off, but they didn't have the ability.

In this school, there are fighting tournaments and competitions, and if you do well in your club activities, you will be promoted to the next level.

It seemed safer to join the club that the seniors of E class had set up than to join a club that was so blatant in its attitude, but the sponsors of the club that A class had joined had invested a lot of money in it, and the facilities and instructors were much different. The club room of the first kenjutsu club was so luxurious that it looked like a condominium full of money! I remember how luxurious it was. It would be cruel to ask me to give up after seeing that.

On the other hand, the 4th Kenjutsu Club, which Gyu senior is a member of, was denied permission to rent a room on the school grounds, so they are running a small business in a rundown apartment outside the school. In addition, since most of the good places to practice in the Magic Field have been taken over by the clubs with higher classes, the Fourth Kenjutsu Club must be having a hard time finding a place to practice. Well, that's also because the upper class and the student council are working behind the scenes.

The students of class E, who had entered the school with the goal of getting into class A and had worked hard to get there, were now faced with the question of which club to join.

In other words, they are stuck in a quandary.

 *...*...*...*...*

They seemed to be having so much fun before the welcoming ceremony started, but on the way home, the air was heavy with sadness. Back in the classroom, there was hardly any conversation. Some of the children were covering their faces and crying quietly.

Some of the children cover their faces and cry quietly, "Guys, is it really okay like that? It's true that we may be weak right now. Let's do something to change this school!"

Omiya-san appealed, tears welling up in her eyes. I also think that this kind of discriminatory school that places the highest priority on merit is a bad idea. When it was a game, it was like that, and I enjoyed playing it moderately.

"Even if you say so, the only way to make those guys squeal is to become stronger.

"I'd love to give them a run for their money, but ...... we're not strong enough."

A girl with short hair clasped her hands and said, "I will definitely ...... be strong.

However, even the upper class is desperate. Students from B to D class are also trying hard to enter A class. While the upper class competes in the total of 6 years of junior high school and high school, the E class has to catch up only in 3 years of high school life.

If you have knowledge of video games, you can do it, but if you don't, it will be impossible with ordinary effort.

(Well, class E is a very unique class, with heroes and heroines like the hero and Pink-chan, as well as agents. I don't think they're going to stay in this weak position without me doing something about it.)

"But I think I'll pay a visit to the First Swordsmanship Club. I don't blame you for not being accepted at first."

That's Akagi-kun, the refreshingly handsome protagonist. You're so positive. After all, he's going to attack the First Sword Club, which is full of Class A students. The day when the first person "boku" becomes "ore" is coming soon.

Tachiki has been wrinkling his brow in thought since a while ago. I'll pray that he, Pink and Kaworu can support Akagi well. If he gets out of control, it will be troublesome.

Speaking of which, Kuga-san, who is also an agent of the U.S. and is quite capable at the moment, seems to be unconcerned. She's looking out the window with her cheekbones, which is natural since she's not aiming for A-class status. However, depending on the scenario, she may move, so she's someone to keep an eye on.

"Hey, hey~. Narumi-kun, what club activity are you going to join?"

As I was absentmindedly looking at the class, the girl with glasses in front of me, Ms. Nitta, spoke to me. She, like Kuga-san, didn't seem to care much about the recruitment ceremony.

"It's not like I have to join right now, I'm just going to take my time and think about it.

"That's true! I really wanted to join the first archery club, If that's not possible, I wonder if I should look around the club activities made by my seniors in the E class ~"

To tell the truth, I have no intention of joining any club, nor do I care.

It's not that I want to go to an adventurer's college, and it's not that I definitely want to be in class A. There are competitions that only members of the club can participate in, but even if you can't participate, you're at a slight disadvantage. There was no need to force myself to join the club. If I had the time, I'd rather dive into a dungeon and raise my level even one level.

Besides, I'll finally be able to go to a highly efficient hunting ground starting today. If all goes well, I'll be able to raise my level significantly. I'm looking forward to it.

Maybe it was because I was thinking like that, but I didn't notice that Nitta-san was staring at me.
